Why Join ONSA?
A student nurse is a very unique individual. Every day we face the challenge of ensuring that all citizens receive the highest quality of health care while trying to learn the theories, skills, and principles that will enable us to fulfill this mission. Early mornings, long lectures, and white scrubs are all part of the student nurse experience and it is these things that make us a unique group. We have a lot in common, and now is the time to share our experiences and to come together as a unified student body. The Ohio Nursing Student Association is the only pre-professional nursing organization in Ohio. We currently serve nearly 2000 students and are adding new members every day. ONSA is dedicated to helping all of its members develop a professional nursing identity and to ensure that the transition from Student Nurse to Registered Nurse is simple and beneficial for everyone. In order to fulfill this goal ONSA provides unique leadership opportunities for all of its members as well a direct line to professional nursing organizations upon graduation.
