My name is Gina Combs. I'm a non-traditional student in my sophomore year in the B.S.N. Nursing Program at the University of Akron. I am also a mother of three daughters and work at Akron General Medical Center as a Nursing Assistant. I love being back in school, and absolutely love working at the hospital. I have many plans after graduation, including traveling to Africa to volunteer with Medicine without Borders. I have recently been appointed to the O.N.S.A. Board of Directors as the Community Health Director. This is perfect for me because I am also looking forward to being able to volunteer in the community after graduation. I have many plans for this 2007-2008 term and am looking forward to getting started.
