Currently I am a junior at Mount Carmel of Nursing where I will be receiving my bachelor’s degree of Nursing in the spring of 2009.  I was also accepted into the Navy’s Nurse Candidate Program (NCP) this year.  So, after graduation I plan to work as an RN for the United State Navy and then pursue an advanced degree as a nurse practitioner or as a nurse anesthetist.  My goals are to encounter all life has to offer by gaining a vast perspective on the world after meeting new people, seeing different cities, and learning all that I can from various experiences.  I am Multi Skilled Technician at Mount Carmel East on the Orthopedic- Medical Surgical Floor.  When I was in high school I volunteered at an extended care facility.  There I enjoyed playing games with the elderly or simply spending time with them. My goal is to serve as a resource for schools in the central region of Ohio to learn about the benefits of being a member of NSNA.  I hope to encourage students to attend both the National and State conventions.
