I am currently a senior at The University of Akron. I am an officer in my schools SNA chapter. I am also a NSNA PIT Recruiter. I plan on going on to get my general Nurse Practitioners license. I am very active in all levels of the Student Nurses Association. I have been a campaign manager, at the national level, for two years and a delegate at the national level for two years, and have gotten to experience a lot of different things with in the organization. Last year I was Membership Director, Chair, I worked as an STNA for 6 years, worked as a medical assistant for 4 years, and am currently working as a nurse extern at a hospital. My goals are not just to increase membership and awareness of the benefits of NSNA/ONSA membership but increase the involvement of the students and faculty within the organization.
