My name is Alisha Sloan and I am the Legislative and Education Director for 2009-2010 and am the President-Elect of my local Student Nurses Association for 2009-2010. I am a Junior at The University of Akron and am enrolled in the BSN program. I am currently obtaining a Spanish minor and look forward to spending a month in Spain this summer. I work as a Nurse Tech at a local hospital in Akron in the Coronary Care Unit, and absolutely love it. My goal as a future RN is to become a Critical Care Nurse and eventually venture into Anesthesia. I also have an interest in possibly becoming a Flight Nurse or a Physician's First Assistant. I am originally from the Cleveland area and love spending time with my family and friends. I am excited to work with all of the board members and can't wait for a wonderful year!
