Message from ONSA President
Hello!
I am Shannon Hunt and I am the new President of the Ohio Nursing Student Association (ONSA). I am writing to introduce my self and offer my assistance as you tend to the needs of your schools' organizations and membership. Please know that I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you might have about the ONSA and our parent chapter, the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA)
To tell you a little bit about myself… I am currently a senior at the University of Akron and am very active in student organizations at the local, state and national level. I am a Project In Touch Recruiter for the NSNA and was the campaign manager for the first student ever to be elected to NSNA Board of Directors from my university as well as the current NSNA President. I am passionate about the NSNA and the ONSA and enjoy telling other students about the benefits of membership. I am very excited about helping schools create student nurse associations of their own and help existing local schools chapters become stronger. I would be willing to come and speak to your nursing faculty, staff and students about our organization. I am working towards ensuring the students know about the multitude of benefits that the NSNA has to offer to them.
